Hey, everyone! It's been awhile since I've written on our blog, so bare with me! So, some of you have probably already heard, I had sergery yesterday on my teeth! My Doctor was Dr. Todd (DDS)! He was amazing! I was very impressed with him! Anyway, this surgery took place yesterday! When I got there, I paid my fee! It was $631.00! Which, came from handing out coupon books! Then, I signed in! After waiting for a few minutes, they sent me back! When I got back there, they had me sign some paperwork! When, Dr. Todd came back, he explained what he was going to be doing! Then, they started the surgery by giving me shots to numb my mouth! He put some topical in my mouth so I wouldn't feel the shots! I only felt one of the shots! It only hurt for one second, though! I didn't like it! Then, he showed me the tool he would be using on me! It was sharp! I don't mind having my mouth numbed, but seeing the tools that they're using on my mouth is something that really freaks me out! Anyway, he also numbed the roof of my mouth! Then, he cut some tissue from the roof of my mouth and put it on the recession! Then, he sewed it up with 4 stitches! I didn't like that part very much! After the surgery was over, he gave me some gauze and a tool to clean in between my teeth! Then, he gave the lecture of what I'm not supposed to eat! I can't remember what else he talked about! I have to only eat soft foods! I'm going to have feel some discomfort for the next day or so, but I can eat normal food after 4-6 days! I don't know how long it take for my mouth to heal, but once it's healed those two spots should turn pink! The tissue that they took from the roof of my mouth is white because it no longer has any blood flowing to it! That spot on the roof of my mouth and the recession will turn pink when they're both healed up! When my mouth heals up I will probably have a couple scars! After the surgery, my mouth felt like somebody had punched it really hard, though! Anyway, my friend, Cammy Allen, was there with me, so that made it a lot better for her to be there! She is amazing! I love her! I'm glad she was there with me and not my husband, Randy Hale, because he would've not liked to see me bleed! I bled a lot during my surgery, but not too much! I'm surprised Cammy didn't pass out at the sight of the all the blood I lost! She is quite a trooper to endure that! I nearly passed out, though! So, yeah, that's my periodontal (Graft) surgery in a nut shell! I hate having my teeth worked on, so hopefully I won't have my teeth worked on for awhile because my mouth has been through a lot for the past 5 years! That's another story though! Anyway, thanks for taking the time to read this story and I promise I will update my blog a little better! Love, Brianna Hale
Oh my goodness! On March 8, 2009, I went to the 4ordained fireside! It took place at the Red Cliffs Stake Center at 7:00 pm! My family, husband, and myself went. It was the most amazing fireside I have ever been to in my life! They sang amazingly well! They each spoke and sang some of the songs from their two albums: Standard Bearer and Bring Me home. Some of the songs they sang were: Keep Walking On, Do You Believe, 'Til Then, He Cares, Spiritual Soldiers, Stand A Little Taller, Standard Bearer, This Truth, By My Side (I think they sang this song). I don't remember the order they sang these songs in. All I remember is that they did an amazing job. They each have talented voices. They gave amazing talks. They also mentioned that they would be serving full time missions. After the fireside, we got to meet them. They were the most amazing men you could ever meet. I actually know one of the members. I grew up with him. His name is Nathan Evan Kasparian. The others are Robert Lloyd Allen, Jacob Juarez, Landon Golden Peay. They each have amazing talents. Anyway, after we met them and talked to them, we had refreshments and talked to them some more. It was the most amazing fireside I've ever been to. If you would like to know more about 4ordained, then go to their website at http://www.4ordained.com/ or you can google them at http://www.google.com/. That's all I have to say in this post. Thanks, bye. :-)
Okay, well, I'll just start with an introduction. My husband's name is Randy Hale. My name is Brianna Hale and my maiden name is Randall. Randy and I were married in the St. George Temple May 31, 2008. It was the happiest and best day of my life. Randy and I met in the singles ward. It all started when he asked me to an institute dance. Didn't even know each other before we met. Some people in the singles ward nudged Randy to ask me out. He did it over the phone. It was cute, but while he was doing that he also was looking at Televisions (not that he was going to buy one). So, he asked me to the dance and I said yes. The dance was November 30, 2007. He wanted to take me out for ice cream the night before, so he did. It was fun. We talked about nothing but ourselves and he was a real gentleman. The next day was the institute dance and I got really excited. For our day date, we went four wheeling in Leeds. It was really rainy and muddy, but I had so much fun with him. We barrowed his friend's four wheeler. I had so much fun with him. My clothes got all wet and muddy, but that's okay. I still had fun. Before the dance, we went with some people from our student ward and ate dinner at Applebee's. It was very yummy and fun. We went to the dance and danced the night away. It was the best first date of my life. He was warming up to me on our first date. Holding my hand, putting his arms around me, you know, stuff like that. I thought to myself this guy really likes me. Turns out I was right. He really did like me. The dance was fun. Food, good music, and dancing. I had a great time. That night, when he took me home, he walked me to the door, took me in his arms and said, "Can I see you again?" I said, "Yes." So, we did. We did a lot of fun stuff for dates after that. A lot of these amazing things started to happen and I started to like him back. We started talking about marriage a lot like a month or two after we started dating finally one day he told me that he had bought a ring for me. I couldn't believe my ears when he told me. Everyday after that I always thought he would pop the question and then he just didn't. On February 2, 2008, he started acting really weird around me and I thought to myself that something was up. He took me to Cougar Cliffs that night. We probably hiked for only a minute. It was very cold outside. We got to this really romantic spot. It was sunset. It was a rocky cliff and we sat down and talked for a minute. There was a rope tied to a rock. The blue rope was dangling off the cliff. I first noticed the rope when we got there to that spot. I thought to myself: Okay, that's weird. Finally, he said, "Oh, look, I wonder what that rope is for. Let's pull it up and see what's on it." We pulled it up and tied to it was a basket (a green laundry basket no less, which was really funny). In the basket, was dinner from Bajio and a blanket. Before we got to Cougar Cliffs, Randy's friend, Danny, had tied the rope to the rock, got us dinner, and a blanket. I thought it was such a cute idea. Anyway, we laid the blanket out and ate dinner on it. It was a very yummy dinner. We both had Chicken Taco Salad. Yummy, yummy! Like I said before, it was freezing, so we wrapped ourselves in the blanket and he held me in his arms. We kind of just sat there for a minute when he said, "Babe?" I said, "What?".............(long pause because I was laying on the pocket the ring was in, which he was trying to get out) I'm like, "What?!" He said, "I've taken you to great heights! Will you take me higher?" (Ladies: Awwwwwwe!) Then, he finally got the ring out and he put it on my finger. At this point, I was really speechless and gitty, which you could probably tell in my voice when I said, "Yes!" After all of this, I was not myself. I was probably gitty for the rest of that night. We sat there and watched the sunset until it was done. We went back to my house to spill the news. When we got to the house, we both went in. My mom was in the kitchen. I sat my hand on the counter and it took her a minute to notice. When she finally saw the ring, she said, "OH!" Tears came to her eyes when she saw it. Then, when my Dad came in the room, he figured out what was going on after he saw my face. I never can keep a straight face. Then, he said, "So, you took her hiking so she could say yes?" I thought that was funny. I couldn't really sleep that night. We did a lot of planning for the next four months after that. All I ever thought about was wedding plans. It was very stressful to plan, but it was so fun and worth it. The day of my wedding, I put on my third white dress. I was so happy. He was so happy. That day, I felt like a princess. He was my prince who swept me off my feet at a time when I needed it the most. The weather was perfect. The reception. The luncheon. But the most perfect and important thing of all was the sealing in the temple. I dreamed of getting sealed in the temple for time and all eternity. That day, my dream had come true. The other most important thing was the man across the alter I was getting sealed to. He is my life. My strength. My teacher. My everything. My joy. My happiness. My angel. My best friend. He's always there for me. When I walked out of that temple. I felt peace. I felt joy. I felt happiness. I felt blessings shower over. Most of all, I felt the love of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. My husband is the best thing that has ever happened to me and I love with all my heart. I always see the love of Christ through his eyes. He has the biggest heart I know of. My wedding day was so beautiful and I will never forget it.
